Sticker Depth

| Hate it when you place a sticker but then forgot one that needs to go behind it, so you have to pick it up, put the new behind and re-stick the other, it's annoying doing this especially when you've taken time to get your stickers straight and exact. So maybe there could be a feature that lets you move the depth of stickers on objects with the R1 and R2 button like with materials, since these buttons don't do anything when you have a sticker held with the cursor. =P | 2011-04-11 13:42:00 Author: Unknown User  |
| Seems like a reasonable option to implement. Mod nation racers has a option like this when you are using stickers, works a lot like layers in photoshop. I think an option similar with the materials graphic would be a nice feature too. I don't know what you call it but it's that feature where you can grab and rotate the graphic of a material. I often find myself putting a sticker on and cutting and wanting to go back and reposition the sticker. For example if you wanted the top left part of a sticker it becomes impossible to get that unless you go back and expand the material and re cut. Till then I think the best way to avoid the issue is with practice and come up with a formula that works best. Here's my solution for the time being. Draw out a huge section of material in a square and layer your stickers. If you want to cut a corner with the cut sticker tool and get a certain shape I would use that one sticker, cut it out copy it and use it to cut out a hole on a bigger piece. Then you copy that and use it like a template to cut out the shape on the piece that has the layered stickers. Of course a layer system would make things much easier.
