Maybe.... we could add just a bit to the OP to make it a worthwile contest.... without all the complexity of judging, rules, and prizes: "Best Platformer of the Month That Can Be Created In 5 Minutes Or Less.... BYOP (bring your own prize)"

I would like to hold this comp, but I'm not a big name creator so no one would make a level. Unless good creators joined and judged, it might get some entry's. Another problem is I don't know what prizes I should give out, because maost good creators know how to. I could let them be Beta testers for my upcoming level, but what good of a prize is that?

Well then. This jolted an idea in my brain. I should have some sort of gallery of platformers, where hundreds of LBPCers compete to make the best themed platformer, whilst making a myriad of other extra platformers. This should inspire many to make more and more platformers, thus reviving our beloved classics. I hope this doesn't enter a platform of bad levels though! Farfle farfle...
