So, I'm trying to use my avatar that has a transparent background (saved as .png) but when i set it as an avatar it gets a white background. I know that avatars with transparent background worked before, but why doesn't they work now? D:

Yeah transparent backgrounds don't work in avatars any more for some reason. I just put the background the same colour as this the background it's on. (I.e this: http://gyazo.com/77f19a372b7fa74c6c0b95ae1c7c97b8.png, except you can't see it because it's the same colour as the background) Would be nice to be able to use transparent backgrounds again though.

Wait, I think mine's PNG... Mine works fine, it is PNG and it has a transparent background.

It may be a problem of the browser you guys are using. Some browser doesn't support correct visualization for certain extension, I'm sure of what I'm saying, though I don't know the exact problems, sorry

It may be a problem of the browser you guys are using. Might be that, or it might be a rescaling issue. If the avatar you upload is not exactly the right size, then the forum software will attempt to rescale it, but in doing so, it may lose the transparency information in the alpha channel.
