An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List Announcements have been made that a second series--tentatively titled An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List--will be made and released in late 2011 ( possibly early 2012 for the U.S. release ). This is taken mainly from a phone interview with Pilkington on The Richard Bacon Show on BBC Radio 5 Live on 1 February 2011. The new series will apparently feature Karl traveling the globe to take part in activities that are considered "things you should do before you die". According to Gervais' online blog filming is already underway and will be released later this year. It was revealed on Gervais' online blog that the first episode has been completed, it involves Karl going whale watching in Alaska on board an industrial fishing boat. Eh. I like the Ricky Gervais Show, but for some reason I was never able to get into Idiot Abroad. Not sure why.

I think I've watched and heard everything they've done. So funny! The funny thing is, it's on the "Science" Channel in the US. There's gonna be a third season of the Ricky Gervais Show cartoons (http://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/00000509/the_ricky_gervais_show_series_3/) too.

Absolutely loved the the first series. I love the witty banter between Gervais, Merchant and Karl even though it's probably scripted (feels like it a bit). Still, it was the highlight of British television last year.
