A sequel to such an amazing game can only be simply fantastic. I can't even begin to think of how they'll make it more fun/detailed.

I don't really like the idea of a sequel to game that has no limitations, LBP1 has only been out for a month and they're already working on a sequel, I hope that doesn't mean they'll just forget about us.

I don't like the sound of it. I'm all up for a sequel. But not this soon after release. Granted, it'll probably take two years to be made or something, but still. This is what's going to happen. "Hey, we got this <super mega awesome> feature here. Should we add it as DLC for LittleBigPlanet?" "Don't be so stupid! We'll put it into LBP2! To make people want it more!" I personally don't believe MM are money-hungry gits, but if they didn't hold ideas back for the sequel, then it would have nothing to offer. Therefore, they can't give us everything they can for LBP.

Yeah I agree - they should be working on cool new stuff for LBP1, not thinking about a sequel already - MM aren't a big team as dev teams go, so there is only so much manpower available..... IMO it is way to early for them to be working on LBP2 - they still haven't fixed all the bugs in LBP1 yet for heavens sake! Where is our working search engine, usable "cool levels" feature and play create share scores?

I can't even begin to think of how they'll make it more fun/detailed. Fix bugs, improve the interface, ad features that should have been in the game in the first place, etc...

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the media always blows things way out of proportion to make some news stories. It was probably very lightly hinted at or maybe by "It's in development" they mean "They've began making doodles on LBP2 :O".

Another 25 levels or so wouldn't be bad and I for one would love to play some more MM levels. I can't imagine they'd already be working on a full on sequel without ironing out all the issues currently plaguing the game.

How about this idea. Instead of a whole new game why dont they make a disk add on. You buy it at a regular store like a game, but you get to keep all of your stuff from the original LBP.
