I'm currently making a platformer level with a winter theme. I'd like to know if you could make something like the northern lights on little big planet 2. (I know you could use hologram) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, what kind of obstacles/challenges/puzzles e.t.c would you want to see in this level? Thanks

It seems like it would look the best if you made it out of lights. Some lights can be turned so you cant see it in play mode, and you can put it on hologram with the brightness to 0. Then, you can atach it to a piston or mover to get a wave effect. If you put in puzzles in, try to make them original. Good luck!

It can be done, as this Beta level shows: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9nKCs8_SFY They managed to make a decent version of the Northern Lights, so it can be done. It may also give you some general inspiration and ideas too. Not trying to steal any thunder posting that video by the way, it just might be something you could find useful.

I'd personally quite like to see some physics puzzles involving water and floating blocks of ice that need to be weighted specifically. I'll be sure to give the level a look when it's done anyway.
