Respawn with Health Bars

I have been working on a level in which you control a sackbot. i have set up a checkpoint similar to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6vi1JhVmBE) and a health bar similar to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXJzQrsGxpc). When my sackbot runs out of health, i have made it so that the timer that is not visible sets off a tag. The matching tag sensor is on the sackbot, connected to a destroyer. However, when the sackbot dies, he is re-spawned with zero health, and thus, he dies before he can land on the ground. How can i make the sackbot spawn with full health so that he won't die right away?

For my Deathmatch (/http://lbp.me/v/x5fwm6) level, I simply captured the health bar, destroy the old one, and emit a new one 2011-04-09 08:37:00

Ok, but the health is attached to the hologram following it, and that never dies, how should i destroy it and emit another. also, is there a way to just refill them when they die?2011-04-09 22:24:00

put a tag on the sackbot. put a tag sensor on the health bar hologram.wire the sensor to a not gate. wire the not gate to a destroyer. basically, if the sackbot is dead the health bar disappears. make the emitter emit the bot and the health bar as a whole. hope i helped.2011-04-10 10:05:00

I'm bombarding you with help! If you use comphermc's sackbot health bar technique, then all you have to do is place a health tag on the sackbot, then have a tag sensor on the controlinator and then set up two counters. the first will be a perm switch, the second will be a pulse switch so that this can only happen once. then make it so that when the sackbot dies, it resets the perm so that the bar can refill. this is how I am doing it in my upcoming level 'Soldier.' check it out on you =tube. theway i figure how to do this is not to spawn/destroy the hp bar, make a custom hp bar. connect the timer(hp) of the sackbot to a sequencer set to positional
use a set of labeled tags for each section of the sequencer.

after that, make a custom hp bar using a series of holograms, have each hp block light up

when u die, the tags will turn off(of course), and then u respawn with full hp

if u need me to elaborate more, let me know
