I think a fan would make a good addition as a added tool thinga ma jig. I realize much like the magnet idea you could pull this off with movers and followers, but if we just had a fan object of witch you can adjust the speed to push objects and players back or up or down. It would function a lot like a bounce pad as far as tweaking goes. You can adjust the strength "how fast it will push objects" and the distance "when you are out of the radius of the fan it will not push any more" If the fan is positioned upward the player or objects will hover. Think of how the fans worked in the old sonic games when you can float over them. Also the only way I can think of making such a function work with players is having them control sack bots that have a follower on them that repels off certain keys. A simple fan object would cut out a whole lot of logic that would need to be done to make this effect. And if you where able to pull this off I doubt it would be a convincing effect for a fan or wind. Think of the possibilities. You can make a hurricane level. Put it in water and you now have a ranging river. Maybe have a reverse effect and you can create a tornado. The fans can come in different verities like the lights and one can be an invisible fan that looks similar to a emitter for those that don't want to sacrifice the look of there level to get wind. I don't know if anyone brought this up yet but I think it's a reasonable thing that mm can write up in code and implement. Plus they can sucker us out of another $5.00 if it's put into a clever level pack. I would pay for it.

^ I lol'd. This is a really neat idea. I'm in favour of this. Imagine the possible use for blimps?! Blimps, people! Blimps! I actually had my fingers crossed for fans being in LBP2 to start with. But a DLC kit would be cool. Can't think what sort of pack it would go in, but whatever. Also, would fans be dangerous to Sackpeople? Imagine the possible new death animation...

Great idea, but IMO I think it should be in the movers category, and not a physical object.

I think maybe an object and a logic piece would be good. Love this idea, given it can be done with logic, but I don't want to attach movers to everything. I actually thought about this when the game first came out. As for what pack.... Maybe a weather pack? Would fit all the 'rain' 'snow', this and such.
