blackholes
Archive: 3 posts
ive been chewing on an idea that has bugged me for years, and this morning i decided to try and illustrate it, and used little big to do it. i know theres some interest in blackholes, having done a quick search for lvls so i thought id share. physicists are trying to create mini black holes, but for some reason the way they are trying, just rings wrong. check out my how to create mini blackholes lvl for more... | 2011-04-08 20:45:00 Author: Unknown User |
R u sure physistis are trying too create mini 'black holes'. I'm sceptical for two reasons 1: to my knowledge there is no such thing as a 'mini-black hole because black holes are already very small (some are pea sized). 2: I'm doing a physics A level and did an astronomy GCSE while back and i am looking at doing a physics at university and simply think I would have heard of this at some point. Anyway well done for using lbp to illustrate science, I'm currently working on somthingsimilar | 2011-04-09 18:33:00 Author: Megafig Posts: 52 |

Infinitely dense, and infiniteley small. I think what the OP is trying to say is related in some way to the large hadron collider, where smashing protons together will hope to recreate the early milliseconds of the universe's life, and i think CERN themselves have stated that this may cause what you could call 'mini-black holes'. Its nothing to worry about though, if they do create any, they will last for literally millionths of a second. So while the scientists at CERN may not be intentionally attempting to bring about the demise of humanity, it may be a biproduct of their curiosity. I might be wrong though.. | 2011-04-11 02:01:00 Author: iliketosayblah Posts: 77 |
