FPS help

I'm a skilled creator that wants to broaden my horizons, and make a first person shooter. The lbp universe needs a good one anyway. It's lacking at the moment. Well I need some help with the logic. Just like a go to help thing. All I want to see is the gun, and I want there to be switchable weapons and whatnot. But how did the person who made the vietnam fps actually do that? Well, I can't help with the the switching logic, but I can tell you that he used the 3D LAYER GLITCH. Do a search and you'll find it almost instantly.2011-04-07 03:37:00

I have some 3D stuff. How do you think he like... made it twist the way he did to go the iron sites. That helps though, as thats what I was thinking, at least I know I'm on the right track.2011-04-07 11:27:00

He probably used a toggle switch and a game camera for iron sights. Thats what I did.

I'm making an FPS as well. Mine in particular is insane and still in its early stages. It uses the 3D camera and right now has 3D movement, reloading (complete with animation!), sounds, health (Half-Lifeish if you played Half Life before), death animation, and complete 16-way directional aiming (instead of just looking forward)!
I was planning switchable weapons, but if you are using the 3D layer glitch (like Vietnam FPS), then possibly some rods and a rotator may work (just throwing our ideas).
