you should be able to open the properties of any pic on your hard drive and insert the url from there when you click on the insert image link2011-04-05 16:57:00

If you're talking about lbp pics to this site, while in your pod select the pic you want to upload, press square for more options and select upload. You can now find this in your http://lbp.me/ profile. Select the pic and copy the url.2011-04-05 17:35:00

Otherwise, if you are using the Advanced editor (there's a button under the Quick Reply div that reads "Go Advanced"), there's the "Manage Attachments" button.2011-04-05 22:35:00

I prefer upload sites at all costs because LBPC's upload function isn't useful for post pics.2011-04-05 22:38:00

True, you'll end up with a list of image URLs at the end of your post, which can be kind of ehhhh. There's also your personal gallery on the site.2011-04-05 22:43:00

I was talking about in the interest's of from the uploaded images on your lbp.me page. If you go through the "show us your awesome lbp2 pics!" thread, alot are very large pictures and I think they used lbp.me but I might be mistaken. I've tried to copy the image url from a lbp.me page, but it isn't working for me?2011-04-06 16:51:00

Are you wrapping the URL in tags? So this (http://lbp.me/p/z6jd9k) picture I picked from my uploaded pictures at random would be http://i4.lbp.me/img/ft/3e470a47012f2c7fbcb03061a39ce789b7dad2a8.jpg.

If that's not the problem could you say what is? What happens when you attempt to do this?

No I don't have a problem setting up a url link, I'm wanting a full picture to appear in the comment, lets say I started a level thread, I would want to show off my uploaded pictures and have them viewable on the thread without having to go through a photosharing website to share it, or the attachments or a url link. Hope that makes sense2011-04-07 03:36:00

No sorry, I don't think it really gets any simpler than that.

The problem is, thats just the way internet forums work.

The image needs to be hosted somewhere, and doing so in the forum site would likely cost the forum owner a fortune and would be rather tricky to implement.

The big downside to directly hosting them here on LBPC is size and quality. This site will shrink a huge glorious HD pic and leave you with a tiny small thing that is worse than old LBP1 popit pics.

For example, all the Caption Contest and Creator Spotlight pics we do, we host on Photobucket and IMGUR respectively. Wish it was easier, but for the quality you have to do the extra stuff. Even then they are reduced to show on a page, but clicking will at least give you the full resolution.

Sorry we can't do more, but we're simply not an image hosting site. To afford the bandwidth we'd need to double or triple the number of ads you see on the site, and that's just not worth it in my view. Better to use a professional image host that does precisely that and nothing else - you'll get better quality and better support than we could reasonably offer anyway.

Thanks for being so involved in LBPC!

Hum maybe I didn't understand what you exactly mean,
but if you want the big pictures quality directly from LBP.me, you must click on the picture when you're are on the LBP.me page of that image, where it's a little compressed...

When you click on it, it will open in a blank window at the right size, and here you copy the link and it should work.

example of url
