Requesting mentor on LBP2 films / movies with sackbot acting logic triggered by seque

I am done with a new level, EXCEPT, for a trigger to start the sackbot acting action. Will you be the kind expert to please join me as a co-creator and teach the secrets of the acting art with logic within a circuit board or sequencer? I?m guessing about one to two hours for the lesson and help fix the glitch in my story.

I have two different characters to begin movements at separate times along the sequencer. The camera?s work fine, but no matter what I've tried, the actors won?t start behave at the time of my direction, or they have already completed their acting before the trigger tells them to begin. Inside a sequencer ? external to the sackbot, I've tried linking these many types of triggers to the bot circuit board with the acting: many styles of battery, toggle, tag & sensor, and even tried a sequencer inside a microchip that was inside the bot logic pad, but no success.

I have tried much of the voodoo in these threads, and the magic tricks found by Ace~ (Bremnen),

Finished acting, and just published a new LBP2 level = Little Bunny Foo Foo (Fu Fu). Many thanks to Kisher8632 at PS3Trophies.Org (Lektiedrengen). Here is my SackBot acting advice that finally did the trick, even though there are a gazillion ways to solve this effort.

1>> Create Sequencers like a story board, across the time line of the level. The Sequencers are joined with a short battery at the very last frame in the first Sequencer, that battery triggers the start of the next Sequencer.

2>> Inside the Sequencers are: the overlapping cameras for transitions and style; the magic mouths for caption text and sound effects; music or sound effects; emitters; global settings for lighting changes, etc; and short batteries that trigger the SackBot acting scene.

3>> Each SackBot actor needs at least 2 SackBot-Behavior-Circuits (SBBC) brains for acting. R1 over the SackBot to open their SBBC brain, and press Square button to set that center default behavior to IDLE. L3 to copy the IDLE SBBC brain, and paste the clone nearby on their logic board. This 1 copy, or however many extra clone SBBC brains, will be set to Acting and contain your movements and emotions. At a minimum, your SackBot logic board will contain: a SELECTOR chip; an OR-Gate chip; the center default IDLE SBBC brain; and Acting SBBC brain.

To the far left margin of the IDLE SBBC, insert a SELECTOR chip, with the port count set to one extra number - of SBBC brains on the logic board. Example, 4 ports equals, 1 IDLE brain, plus 2 Acting brains >> because the IDLE SBBC has two triggers, which are the original default START status and the ending trigger to STOP acting.

To the near left of the IDLE SBBC, which is in between the SELECTOR chip, insert an OR-Gate chip with 2 input ports. You should now be looking at the logic board, and starting from the left, you?ll see a multi-port SELECTOR chip, with center ports going into Acting SBBC, then the top and bottom ports going into, a 2 port OR-Gate chip, which has one output to the IDLE SBBC brain.

Repeating >>> The single output of the OR-Gate chip joins to the IDLE SBBC brain. The 2 inputs on the OR-Gate chip, come from the top #1 position and the bottom # position of the SELECTOR chip, to trigger the Start and Stop of that actor.

4>> Join Sequencer short batteries (they just turn ON, no stretch length required), to the SELECTOR chip inputs on the SackBot logic board. Careful that the leftmost battery is connected to top position#1 - to Start the IDLE SBBC, and the rightmost battery is joined to the bottom position# to Stop and reset the acting on the IDLE SBBC. Battery(s) along middle of time-line will start the Acting behavior, when joined to the SELECTOR, then connected to the Acting SBBC brains.

Note, A battery on the Sequencer can connect to multiple SackBot actors, if you wish them to start at the same time.

Note, When doing a PLAY trial of your story, you may need to reset the SELECTOR chip Current-State= 1, so it will Play and trigger acting in correct order.

5>> You may wish to add Tags (matching color and name coded) on SackBot logic boards, so actors can be told to look at each other and be more realistic. Watch enough tutorials, and you?ll figure this out.

Whew, good luck to you, and I hope this helps someone else. It took me forever to figure out.
