Rubik's Cube

Archive: 6 posts

Hey, this is my first level I've published in lbp2. I really took a lot of time to publish this level... not because i was working on it for a huge amount of time... but i get sucked into other projects really easily. The fantastic backround was made by my friends ScrambleTheAC130 and M0ShPoTaTo3S.

I really want some feed back from other creators, mostly about how my instructions were, as i am very confusing at times. I've also got loads of other projects that i hopefully will get out there at some point, but I think i might end up making a collection level for logic things i use and what I'm working on.

Thanks in advance for any feedback and I'm still kinda new to the forums so please tell me if i screwed up.

Very cool concept, I really like how you laid out all the faces of the cube. It took me a while to figure out the buttons, i was pressing everything except the d-pad . I didn't finish the cube, because i'm not clever enough, but again i really like this idea. It could even be added to a level as a minigame puzzle!

It reminds me of the classic puzzle game, Dr Brain. If you could build a few more puzzles and stick them together in a level it would be awesome.

check out my multiplayer tanks level if you get the chance, https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=54300-Scorched-Earth-Little-Big-Planet-Style

Thanks,

Cam

I hate that **** cube, but not your level. You laid it out in a very clever way to compensate for the lack of 3 dimensions. I made no attempt to finish it because I hate that **** cube, but still, a well made puzzle.2011-04-04 05:40:00

yo!!!! That was cool man!!! I give it up to you. I wanted to be the first rubiks cube maker but **** you for beating me to the punch. I have a few test levels on my moon for some of the logic. I'd be interested in seeing what your logic looks like. I solved it. YAY!!!! lol took a pic....now how to send it to ya. I took me just a minute or 6 to get used to the controls and the layout, but once I got used to it I was rolling.2011-04-04 10:12:00

thats for the feedback you guys! I don't think I'll be making a puzzle level, as the cube took up a lot of thermo, but I do have a multiplayer game in mind that I'm sure people will love. I'll have to check out that tank level when i get on, and babyface, if you want to see the logic it uses just add me on psn. Thanks!2011-04-04 22:04:00

Wow, this is pretty much perfect. I kept putting down the controller and miming cube solve (eventually grabbing a real cube to facilitate muscle memory translation) and I'd hit a trigger as the controller hit the couch, skipping to the next song, but that was my only complaint. Seems like a sweet jukebox feature, thanks for giving it away at the end! Have you considered giving the logic away to those who can solve the cube? I like how the photo section doubles as a wall of fame, upon which I'm happy to be the latest member. I LIKE IT
