Red Blood Cell Logic (http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp327/staticspark151/LBP%20PS3/TheMicroscopicRedBloodCell.jpg)

Hey, I want to see if you guys think what I'm building seems okay or looks okay.

The story...
Basically, you start out as a red blood cell inside the heart. Since that would be reasonable. I haven't focused on the beginning of the level, but I know that you will start in the heart and you're a red blood cell. You are then commanded to go to the bone marrow to produce more blood cells. That would be reasonable because the heart and bone marrow are similar in blood function wise. One spreads oxygenated blood, while the other produces blood itself. I made the environment really beautiful, I'd like to believe. I'll have the links to the pictures on top of the post.

As you're leading to the bone marrow, you will go through simple obstacles that require shooting walls and few hazards. So then you reach a system to produce more red blood cells. Then out of nowhere, the human body receives a wound/gash. You are then open to viruses and bacteria. As a blood cell, you are forced to retreat the area. You then lead to the lymph nodes to exchange your vehicle. You are no longer a blood cell and become a Helper T Cell to fight off bacteria.

I forgot to add, but the level is very dynamic, there's a lot of moving which makes this level more jumpy and fun. The heart beats, as in expands and creates a noise. The walls shake or move in or out of place. The environment, or the cells rotate. Lungs behind the heart moves as well.

That's where I stopped at as of now.

I plan for your character to meet at least the stomach. I'm not sure how to link that into the level, but I'll figure out a way because I know that will be an awesome environment.

I also plan to involve regular platforming as well, instead of being in a vehicle all the time. There will hopefully be grappling hook since many people seem to like that, or at least I do.

I've implemented a health bar, and yes it works. Lol. There's a picture of the health logic.

That's all I got for now...
So tell me what you think of the story or pictures.
I'd like to see what you guys think of it so far.

Looks pretty cool *very educational* really unique and reminds me of that story level where you go inside 'HigginBotham', I love when people show pictures of their levels rather than describe it. Anyway when do you think you'll release this? And if you need any testers I'd love to help.2011-04-03 20:57:00

Hey Spark,
Wow that looks very impressive I enjoy seeing your progress and don't hesitate to ask me for some testing .

I am currently working on my Egyptian project still as well as helping shadow_wolf_1987 with his awsome Metroid project.

Could someone add a lbp.me link? I searched but couldn't find it on lbp.me - would be way easier to get people to play.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words.

As for testing my level, I guess you can just add me and when I play LBP sometime, you can join and I'll most likely invite you. However, in one condition, you can not create anything at all in my level. It is my level for a reason you know? I would like if nobody created in my level, unless I allow you. But please, lets not try to help me build, okay? If you want to help, words would be fine instead? :/ How's that?

Also, Zoshua35, it's good to see you.

I have no deadline for this level. I have been busy with life so far. My schedule is random, so I never know when I'll be able to finish it.

@standby250:
I'm guessing you though I published a demo?
I guess I can post a demo of what I have so far.
Edit:
There you go...

This is great. Played a little bit of it, and I must admit, you sure are catching on to all those LBP2 tools fast! Or, much faster than me anyway.
Great work!

Great work!

I was wondering if you could help me on creating. One of your obstacles caught my eye and I don't know how you did it. XP I'm not catching fast at creating, I'm justing learning the tools I'll need to know for my level. I'm having trouble on pulling off stuff you guys can do that I can't yet. XD lol

The pics are looking awesome and the story does that too!
The pics also remind me of the Higgenbottom level where you go in him.

I'm really interested in levels like this, I loved that level of Higgenbottom so this one has to be an awesome level!
I can give you some feedback too! Like, How I found the scenery, was the level fun? etc...

So, level looks awesome and I will give it a try when I get on LBP2.
Queued!

Oh, yeah, I liked the higginbottom level. However, it was short, so I decided to build an awesome inside the body level just to feel the epic feeling of that higginbottom level. that's why this level looks similar to it. Except, I'm trying to include different parts of the body.2011-04-05 05:03:00

Hey, I played the Demo yesterday and it was awesome!
The scenery was very nice and really felt like you're inside a body of someone.
Everything worked well and the blood cel got damage when it had to get damage. I almost died at the start of the level.

The only bad thing I found was the end. Dark Matter, a lot of it! Everything in the level was so good and the end completely blasted that. You should make it like everything else in the level, inside a body themed. But the dark matter, no.
So, the only thing you should work on to absolutely get the player's interest is improving the end a lot.

Augh, why is it that whenever I have an Idea it's already taken and made like 100x better?

So far it looks amazing, especially the heart! But what I noticed is that the heart (or maybe the robot you're in?) seems a bit too unproportional compared to the heart pictures, then compared to the vein/artery pictures ( whatever you're flowing through)

That's pretty much it, and I can't wait to play this!

Very cool concept and I like the artistic direction a lot. You mentioned starting in the heart and traveling to the bone marrow, but since bone marrow produces hematopoeitic (blood) cells, wouldn't it seem more logical to start there?

You could do a whole take on Body Wars, where you have to eradicate pathogens in various organs. Or if you're looking for subtasks, you might have to pick up oxygen at the lungs, or drop off waste at the kidneys. Just some ideas

I don't think he'll keep it like that when he releases the official one, I think he just made that so he can quickly release the demo to you guys.

Wow, you are a god my friend. Thats is a lot reasonable and smarter.
You made my day bud. I'm stupid. Hahah.

Yeah, it would be reasonable to start at the bone marrow leading to the heart. Maybe after that, I could go to the heart leading to the other organs to bring oxygen. Wow, you made my day. Now I can lead to any organ just because its the heart giving oxygenated blood to where ever I want the player to go. XD That helps man. Of coarse I have to fix the structure of the level, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Wow, many thank you's!!!

As for everybody else, thanks for the feedback. XD it's not even a level yet, but you guys are helping me out in ideas.
Oh yeah, this level wasn't suppose to have a cool ending, I just put up a demo because someone asked for one. I don't want to create an awesome ending for something that won't be there in the official thing.

Thanks guys, once again.
