Your two cents about Glee?

Hi guys!

I watched Glee last week as it aired on TV, and I was pleasantly surprised. This show is much funnier than I thought it'd be. It's not just like a stupid sentimental melodrama, it's actually entertaining. And although you may like or dislike the kinds of songs they sing in the show, they sing them in a very good way and all the actors have an extremely beautiful voice (some more than others).

Actually, everything began with this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E46BhMIRujI) video. It aired on MTV and I didn't know the show yet. I found this song a bit... weird, especially sung by men but at least that was better than sung by Katy Perry. So I had a look on Youtube to check who were those guys, and I found out all those excellent forgotten songs, "updated" by Glee, such as Lean On Me or Faithfully. There were also a stack of modern songs that I never really cared about, like Bruno Mars', Beyonce's, or Train's, but that I loved once sung by Glee. All those (in the face of them) banal songs get shining with the Glee cast.

This show is really sparkling with wit, it's fresh and innovative, and I was just wondering if you guys had ever watched it once to form a clear picture of it.

Mash-ups are annoying!
And I would probably watch it if it didn't have musical elements.
