Well, in a way they did, but that's to compensate for the fact that they COULDN'T make them swim, its not like they said "Oh, lets P'O a ton of people and make Sackbots unable to swim, just to make a joke." Of course not, the reason its not is due to A.I. problems, wherethey canot ake the A.I. work properly underwater. If you think about it, right now, they pretty much only need to worry about going left and right, underwater and flying (jetpack) requires up, down, and diagonal movement. Same reason Grappling hook isn't usable to sackbots either, they require a more advanced A.I. than what they currently have. Ok, maybe the ladder, but really, I don't see why it could have priority over anything, since they could use that time to work on something better/ more useful.

The Weather tools and Video format would be cool. Cant see the climbing ladder thing happening though. Probably be in LBP3. It would add a new element to platform levels.

The ability to make costumes? This would completely ruin LBP. Because then you dont get any thrill from getting costumes in the game. But im all with weather tools.

Even if we wouldn't be able to export in any format, some sort of feature for saving replays would be extremely useful. It could use its own format for all I care. I would love to be able to see a replay of how a player experiences my level. It would be the most valuable testing tool I can imagine.

But they definitely need to fix it so that player-controlled sackbots can do everything a sackboy can do. This is a no-brainer. I'm sure they'll patch it eventually.
