As far as I can tell, on the internet, only people with specific niches or people who are really mean or something are well known- like LittlebigGiant has been here for a while, and he's kinda just... there. (sarcastic) its the same in real life, in school. the poplular people are the ones that do tons of drugs or have severely broken childhoods, the ones that get on fights or are full of themselves are the really popular ones, Its really pathetic In my opinion, and I hate how people are attracted to the sob stories and controversy hogs in real world, and the virtual one. and a lot of those types of people arent even aware of why they get the attention they do. Sure, I find attention hogs amusing sometimes, everyone does, but most of the time I just sit back and watch those people start to destroy their own lives with drugs and alchohol. while im on the sidelines with my group of freinds, content with who I am. I dont need to join the popularity contest to find happiness. nor do I find the need to seek attention for happiness. Thats why I dont have a specific niche in the forums, because those people that do are either extremely eccentric, nerdy, controvercial, or a Mod. and I dont come to these forums to finda specific mindset of people, I come to the site for LBP news, community, and a good laugh, and thats what I usually get. I kinda spilled my thoughts their on everything. its a lot deeper then what happens on the forums, but its really what ive been thinking about lately, and it fits with Rocks post. I'm just fully myself on the boards, and i'm pretty sure i don't have a niche (unless anyone else would like to correct me, as judging yourself is less accurate). You can have a social life without having to "Stand out". Again, this would describe myself. Out in the 'real world' (lul), i have many friends and my 'niche' is that fact that i don't have one! If that makes sense. I've got many friends (at home and at uni) and honestly i'm just someone who gets on with everyone. I don't stand out, but have many many very good friends from just being myself, even without this 'niche'.
