Mute Glitch

This only just happened to me, so im not entirely sure how I should explain it.

I was in create mode, making something involving an emitter that emitted out an object with a microchip attached to it. I had the emitter set to 'On,' but I was going to connect it up to a switch; I had it running just for the hell of it.

I went to hook up the switch to the emitter and deleted the spare object it had put out. As soon as I deleted the emitted object, I heard that distinct, crackling "Pop" that you get when audio suddenly cuts out. And that's just what I was left with.

No sound coming from the level, pop-it, start menu or anything on the PS3 at all! I saved the level onto another space to see if it had effected it in play mode as well. It had. I then returned to my pod where I still got no audio.

Then I began to worry my PS3's sound card had blown, so I quit the game. But, when I did, as if by magic, my sound was back! Now im back in the same saved level and there's no problem whatsoever. This (hopefully) hasn't caused any trouble, but I just thought i'd bring it to your attention.

One thing I think might have been a contributing factor, was that the microchip had a sound object placed on it. The emitter was set to infinite lifetime for the spawned object.

Has anyone else ever encountered thins, or am I just unlucky?

Tends to happen to me when moving cameras or sound on the sequencer. Restarting LBP solves the issue, with no data lost.2011-04-01 22:54:00

I think the most reproductive action of this bug is toying with side placed game cameras on local space, it happens for me for first time on beta when i was playing with it2011-04-02 05:01:00

This has happened to me twice. Both times I had been in create mode for hours and I was tweaking logic with a controlinator and movers. I restarted the game both times and the sound came back. My profile is still 100% ok.2011-04-02 08:47:00
