Drowning while using controlinator

So I'm working on a versus level where each player will be in a cage. as you fail objectives, the cages will lower themselves into water eventually submerging the player. The problem is, while testing I found out you cannot drown while using a controlinator. I also found out that sackbots die instantly in water. Water is the perfect hazard for my level because it doesnt instantly kill you and the level will be such that you could come back from the edge of death (the time it takes to drown). I also need to use controlinators because the player will need to hit specific buttons. Does anyone know a way around this?2011-04-01 03:56:00

You could always place a timer connected to a water switch, so that it activates while underwater and its only a time limit.
Remember to place a reversed one connected to the reset of the timer, so it restarts when they leave the water.

A way around this, well, there are quite a few. 1 : I just discovered on my moon that sackbots CAN go underwater... but they have to have a 100% dampening anti grav thing on it, so that wouldn't work. Another would be if you set a water switch and timers, being 30 or whatsoever. Remember to connect a NOT gate on the water switch, and make that reset the timer.

Sounds perfect, I'll try this. I'm still figuring out the controlinator and didn't realize it could do this.

I believe that setting is still bugged in multiplayer. Try it out with a second controller.

I found a "waterproof" sackbot. I saw it was no glitch just a Anti-Grav on it set to 100% Gravity and what ever the second thing is... and it works... but floats in mid-air2011-04-05 00:05:00
