Well I?m taking a break from working on the story for my level series, ( I just can?t seem to get in the mood to write right now) So I?m gonna go ahead and make a new version of my beta level. But made for better with far more stuff~ I?m going to make it a lot bigger and make it somewhat like tower of whoop, but am thinking of other things too like hidden mini games (hopefully better then in my first tower?s mini game) And more spooky ghost like characters, more and better puzzles and maybe a Boss? Yeah I?m not so sure about a boss too. The first level just had FF7 music but I may make my own music This time? I?m not sure, not like I ever done music much before? I may do a town in the level too.... like i said the level will be much more big then the first. So I'm going to be thinking up a lot of fun ideas if i can. So what do you guys think? I?d like some ideas that be fun for the level. Hey Fumetsusozo, I remember playing your level in beta. Had a cool look (I'm a sucker for carboard-worlds ;-) and some really nice obstacles. Also liked the little fellows you could catch. Neh no one will be able to create with me very much as i create offline plus i don't know what I'm going to do with the music or not yet. I never had the beta, but this sounds and look very ineresting. Seeing as this is going to be a major overhaul, I think some cool multiple path sections would be nice. I love the moving platforms you had in the beta, those could be built on and made into a sort of unstable platform challenge. Some cool lighting effects like crossing multiple spotlights would be pretty neat. Also rotating sponges might be cool, don't know if they would fit the scenery buy hey it's your choice Maybe have a section where you climb a slowly crumbling building? Yohooho~ i have low energy when it comes to any kind of creating... i have the skill, i can create good, but it's waste-ed a lot because i always feel worn-out... i try to force my self to create in order to over-come it, but it's hard with the feeling of always wanting to go sleep when i start to work on something lol. but anyways I'll be doing my best to try to get this level here made and done. helps that i posted it means people will be looking forward to it. helps gives me move motivation. *mew PS: Well if you really want to help with my level series's story you can, just know a lot of the story is already made it's just trapped in my head, and you'd be helping me get it out and talking to me about things that'll also help me remember some small details i've forget-en over time, plus help me put different story parts together, as a lot of the story is loose concept parts... anyways i find it's always good to have someone to bounce ideas with. so if your really interested go ahead and ask. | 2011-04-02 14:44:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

stuff no there won't be a menu with different modes. not really the point of the level.and no it won't feel odd for the level being versus mode, as it's just a simple way to let more then one player explore with out dieing from the cam from everyone being apart. it's not a race or anything really, (i may add a race-mode later but that could be hard to put in, so it's only a maybe for now) and the crumbling tower will just be a small part of the rest of the level, but i will make it epic enough, so don't worry. also again there is no clear story in this level. this level right here is not the level series i was talking about in my other post just in case i confused anyone . the only story that'll be in this level will be more or less a mystery, it'll leave you wondering what was going on. kinda like Ico or Shadow of the Colossus, but maybe with even less words then they used and Yoho~ you said haunted house? the whole level is suppose to feel somewhat like a ghost town already. *mew | 2011-04-03 12:01:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

Little problem with VS mode. i was hoping to use it so everyone had their own game cam so they could explore apart. but i had forgot Vs mode makes all life gates random.... don't work in this type of level. So now it's come down to 1 of theses 2 options. 1: players are sackbots. 2: normal cam that kills players when they go to far apart from the others. I'm gonna try #1 i guess. but I'm a little disappointed I'll have to use bots, as that was not my first idea for this level, but i guess it'll be fine. now the question is to make the bots look like the players? or custom characters that matches the level theme? *mew | 2011-04-09 01:13:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

I think you can do something like that idk I tried, believe me. not to say there is no way around it. but i sure can't tell what that would be... they no matter what logic i put on them, they stayed on. Haha the level is taking me more long then i was hoping but i've took a long break for a while from it, So no surprise really... Anyways, The costumes in the level ended up taking almost 3 bars of my thermometer So I'm gonna most likely have to break my level in two levels when I'm done... But Here's what i wanna ask, Will A level link disconnect the players from one another? i've heard there was some problem with that with other people's levels... but I'm not sure what else i should do? the level is set up so once the players are there, No one else can join in the gameplay a short bit after the level starts... Wow! That's quite a lot of decorations you're using if you take up that much. Not really... Yeah Sorry this level been taking me so long. But I'm a rotten slow creator and keep only working on it like 2 days a week. also it's on hold till next month because of another level I'm working on. And it's just... the logic in Nowhere is taking me forever to make as I'm not a logic guy, So I'm lucky I'm doing as good as I am. Plus I been trying to think up how i want everything to look and work and that takes a while. plus this is the first true level i been trying to get fully made for a long time besides the other one I'm working on right now. Update! Well thanks to my poll from my other topic I'll be trying to go back to work on this level again... Problem was I kinda ran out of ideas what I wanted to do with it... I mean... I know in general what I want for the level... but not in detail... plus the Logic was taking me forever... bloody mini games... well I do have some new ideas to try out now. so hopefully I can work on this level and get it done without taking to long...
