Hey, i just had a suggestion that I think could improve LBP2. This is actually the same for all games, but i think that LBP2 the most would benefit from being able to share the music that the pod host is listening to from the music player with the pod members/players who are currently joined them. I know alot of players will agree yet disagree with this, but I want to know your opinions to see if we can make this happen becuase i don't see any bigger motivation than music and a good creator together. What do you think? RC

The host would have to stream a live MP3 feed (or similar format) to up to four players. It's not feasible due to bandwidth variablity and the memory/processing power needed to stream out. In addition, what's to prevent me from playing explicit lyrics or anything else of that nature? Not exactly that jives with a game that's rated "E" for everyone. Neat idea, I just don't see it ever being implemented.

More importantly, perhaps, for any commercial music it would fall under "broadcast or redistribution via the internet or other medium" which is illegal.

the memory/processing power needed to stream out. For that process all that is needed is song in memory, and you already got it since you lising to it (since LBP got that feature). So it does nothing to do with processing (or else you want to recommpress the song), bandwidth is hte only wall here in terms hardware

Nah, i disagree...May aswell get a sensitive headset and put music on, that works. what if one person who the host got music on lbp and another join in and got their music on aswell, it gonna be a mash up fail. so i disagree, sry . good idea, but it was imo.

I think it's a great idea RacingCreed, and one I wondered about when I first saw music could be played in Create mode. However, like Sony putting the kebosh on file import (custom sticker) options, it's rather out of Media Molecule's hands. Here's hoping!
