Anyone at Mm is allowed to Mm pick a level, but it mainly tends to be the community guys; Tom and Spaff.2011-03-29 23:30:00

There are many ways of contacting Mm, if you believe a level is MmPick worthy it helps if it is popular even before it has been picked. You can always send an @ msg to Mmpicks on twitter and ask them to give it a go. But be aware that 1000's of others are going to be doing the same.2011-03-30 06:27:00

sadly just like the news section in lbp1..
It seems MM is allready neglecting this feature.
so many great levels out, and no new picks since frozen flame (and the big absense of picks before that).

Was to be expected tbh.

Actually there was a new pick the other day... Batman the animated series or something like that.

But yeah, seems like we're getting a pick every week or two now..

Yea, there hasn't been that many Mm picks. I think I've made a level that is somewhat worthy to be an Mm pick lol. But idk if Mm would even see it :'(2011-04-02 22:12:00

I made a level of ideas for Media Molecule to take a look at instead of sending them emails of my ideas like I have in the past. I thought it would be an easy thing to contact them to suggest a level to be reviewed. I emailed them at hello@mediamolecule.com, sent a message through the psn network to both Spaff and Tom.

Spaff is active http://lbp.me/u/Spaff_Molecule, Tom hasn't been on for over a month http://lbp.me/u/Tom_Molecule, while the latest level Prius was picked by someone unknown, probably from Sony due to the nature of the level as a marketing gimick for Toyota.

After I read shadowrivers comments on how 'mmpicks on mmblog you can see picker comments', I read Spaff saying if you have a suggestion for Mm picks leave a comment, yet under comments there hasn't been any activity since March 10th 2010 http://www.mediamolecule.com/blog/tag/mmpicks/

They should have an affiliates section, that doesnt "polute" the mm picks section by contest/marketing crap.2011-04-04 18:36:00

agreed, i think it is terrible that LBP is being used for advertising purposes (prius etc) under the guise of a contest. obviously sony would have pressured Mm into allowing the prius contest and Mm picking the good levels. there should definitely be a seperate place for levels that Mm are obliged to pick.

Am I the only one that thought the Prius level was completely deserving of the pick?2011-04-04 21:58:00

The Prius level gets a prize 'a 3D TV and cash prize', it doesn't need to get a Mm pick as well. Mm picked it for the promotion of a Toyota Product, with which Toyota pays Sony thousands of dollars to endorse its partnership and promote the contest to us...There must be allot of car owners that play LBP to become a demographic?2011-04-06 03:32:00

No, I'm sure there are a few others. To be honest I didn't play any of the levels except one of the very first ones, and finally gave in and thought I'd see just how INCREDIBLE the picked level was. It wasn't. It's a great little level, but certainly not "Pick" worthy in my opinion. There are far better levels out there that are more deserving than this and many other levels.

I'm actually quite ticked off that this Advertising level made it in. It has no place being there, just as the Hansel_Gretelbot levels had no business being there. Again, fun levels... but not "Pick" worthy and directly associated in one way or another with being an Mm project. It reads as favouritism to most of the community... well, the people I'm in contact with anyways (and a lot more here who have been vocal about it).

I love Toyota's (though... not the Prius). Heck, my 2nd cousin owns one of the biggest dealerships around. This whole advertising thing really cheapens the game though, and I think whomever's brain-fart it was ought to have been docked a months pay for even bringing it up in a meeting... or agreeing to it.

I've now lost all faith in Mm picks, and from here on in I vow to ignore them completely... just as the good folks at Mm seem to be doing.

The first one? Or the contest winner that got picked this week?
