3d Maps could happen.

PC version could happen but only if Sony does a Sega.

A cubic grid would make it simple to line shapes up.

I can't wait for 3-D LBP. It will happen and it will be awesome.

Layer Glitch and trickery you can do it, just need legitimate side view cameras so you can see in those layers when walking down halls and such2011-04-02 01:18:00

There will be a 3D version of LBP, when tech, time and software permits.

PC? Never.

I think 3D would make it not feel like LBP anymore.

what kind of 3D are we talking about here anyways?
if it's free movement (not sideways game-play) i don't want it.
if it's 3D Image like all them movies and the new 3DS then i don't care but also don't mind.
but I'm pretty sure the OP was saying #1, as he said 3D maps. *mew

PS: one way or the other i think they should not do a LBP3 until PS4 comes out.
anything else would be to soon IMO, and it would be hard to make a better LBP
on PS3 as LBP already pushes the limits of the system as it is.

PC LBP is very unlikely, the game would be pulled apart in minutes by hackers and the community would become a right mess.2011-04-04 16:12:00

I wouldn't like the idea of 3D maps. I think it requires more creativity to have certain restrictions such as 2.5D rather than being able to make anything anywhere. A PC version is probably never going to happen.2011-04-05 11:57:00

A side-editor for on the pc to make your own objects, deco, stickers etc would be nice.
but the whole author rights/copyright crap would interfere.

which I dont really get tbh, because on unreal engine/crysis/half life engine based communities the chance of ppl ripping other stuff was very low..
guess thats a price MM payed when they made the editor so easy even 9 year olds can work with it.

I'll bet that eventually they will include some real 3D feature to LBP. Yes i like LBP the way it is but i would like it more if they added some stuff lol. I mean you can never have too much stuff, welll not untill you get too much..... ya know..... stuff. Well yeah They prolly will add 3D stuff in LBP weather it be DLC or maybe if they make LBP3 for PS4.... who knows?2011-04-06 21:52:00
