I've been trying to get it because you can make 3D layers with it, but I have no idea how to unlock it... help please?

It's a glitched item that was captured in the beta and imported over. Try one of these levels (http://lbp.me/search?q=pod&t=newest&g=2) to get it. Remember though, don't press square on it. Actually, backup your data before messing with it too.

i once went to a friends glitched pod and i sincerely hate to be in a glitched pod. impossible controllinators **** me off. i dont think you should get that item. its like a button that kills small pure children

You really shouldn't mess with the pod Sam. It's a bomb waiting for you to let down your guard and BAM!!! YLOD or a real mess of a profile.
