An unfinished Tank Project
Archive: 2 posts
Hello everyone in the forum, I would like to share one of my projects in lbp, that would be the Goliath Reconaissance and Assault Tank (GRAT for Short), wich refers to a crafted machine equipped with mechanics and weapons. It's nothing too fancy, but I am having a serious problem to make a section of it... more specifically a huge sniper gun I need to attach to the vehicle's top, and make it go up when activated and down when unused. The question is: as it uses a motor bolt to rotate the aim, the stiff piston that should keep it (up or down) becomes loose when attached, as the motor bolt does so! I already requested and recieved back up from a great fellow, pivottt, but like me he was unfortunately unable to understand what happened. So i went on finding another way rather than use the piston, and this is what the thread is for. If you would like, please contact to set up a day and visit me and my (poor) craft to take a look and give constructive hints! I don't know for sure if i need to post this here or in the help section, as this refers not to a request, but to an unfinished project of mine...... never mind. Thank you for reading! Cheers! Ah, and I know that I need to buy LBP2 as it will have more tools and give me the opportunity to fix this problem and so.... and i will. Someday I hope. | 2011-03-28 15:39:00 Author: Unknown User |

Someday I hope. well if u don't want to buy it i have a solution. What you can do is have a winch that is attached to an either gate attached to a proximity switch set to reverse. Have it pull when you are not near it and stop pulling when you are. then just rotate using a weak motorbolt set up to your prefered control method. ateleast this is teh ebst method i could come up with off teh top of my head. | 2011-07-10 23:45:00 Author: Unknown User |
