camera angle at scoreboard

I have the end of the level triggered by a game ender and I want the scoreboard to be shown from a zoomed out angled up camera view. I've tried every way I know of to make the camera work, but I can only get it to stay active for a split second. Is there something special about scoreboards that doesn't allow this or is there a special way to do it?2011-03-27 07:28:00

I have tried it as well on occasion. It will not work. The SB has a reserved camera angle so the players will be able to read it.2011-03-27 09:56:00

Although you might try adding a player sensor and timer and wiring its output to the scoreboard. I'm not certain if it will work, but I think this might keep it from actually triggering until the timer is consumed. So you'd at least be able to show your zoomed out view for a moment (or as long as you set your timer) before it defaults to the scoreboard cams. Maybe?

The only option I can offer is to make a fake scoreboard, teleport the player(s) to there, have the special angle and after a timer runs out replace the fake SB with a real one by an emitter. Or teleport players to there and make the board (possibly one that has its base removed) rise up while you have that special angle. As soon as the board if fully up it will trigger the official ending and starts it's own cam angle.2011-03-27 18:48:00
