Last night, my BF and I were playing story levels together (on the same machine) using his profile. When we entered the Train level at Eve's Assylum, my BF's sackboy picked up the grabinator but it didn't work for him. Even though the gloves were on, they couldn't pick anything up or grab anything. My character worked just fine with the powerups. We tried Brainy Cakes next and the same thing happened. I turned my control off to see if that would fix the problem. It didn't. he tried a couple more story levels and none of the powerups worked for his sackboy even though they worked for me. So, we logged out of his profile and tried mine. Same thing.. powerups did not work for him but they worked fine for me. What is weird is powerups DO work when he is playing community levels. Anybody have any ideas how to fix this????

Try making a new profile for him, the problem seems to be coming from his if he's the only one who can't use them. He may need to replay the game to get all the data on a new profile.

Hmm, that's quite odd, and must be very frustrating. The only thing I can suggest is (like Number7Million) said, he should try making a new profile see if that fixes it. I don't know what difference it'd make either way, but out of interest, do they work for him in Create Mode?

My friend QSKSw has this glitch too, it only seems to effect the Grabinator. In The Factory Of A Better Tomorrow to throw Sackbots makes them fall through the floor or walls. Question, did you attempt any glitches? This could be a possible byproduct of one I found a few weeks ago. Also, for everyone who seems to think it so for some insane reason, CREATING A NEW PROFILE IS NOT THE ANSWER! If everyone who got the Naux glitch was simply told to reset their profile, not only would nobody ever get anything done, but MM would never have been able to fix it. Do NOT reset your profile, send it to MM instead and let them analyze it.

Thank-you Vahkiti! I mentioned creating a new profile to him before I posted this and his reply was if he had to start over, he was finished with the game. He'll be happy to know it is a glitch that other people have had a problem with...he has himself convinced his name is jinxed. Try making a new profile for him, the problem seems to be coming from his if he's the only one who can't use them. He may need to replay the game to get all the data on a new profile.He refuses to create a new profile because he'd have to start from scratch.
