Teleporter Help

I've gotten almost everything I need for my teleporters put together, but when I jump in one it just keeps teleporting back and forth. It has a tag sensor which requires a tag turned on by an impact sensor on the other teleporter. Then it emits the holo with the controllinators on it. I'm pretty good with teleporters, but i'd have to see how you have them built in order to give you a good answer. I've built a bunch of different types so far including a working stargate and ring transport. Some pods and platforms too. If ya want to take a look add me and I'll help ya out. Have you considered hooking up a timer along with the impact sensor (through an AND gate) to the emitter? Hook it up to only trigger the emitter if the impact sensor activates AND a certain amount of time (a couple seconds) has passed since the activation of the other end. If that still causes the second teleporter to activate after the time has expired even if the player hasn't left the arrival area, then you'd need to add a 1-shot gate on the impact sensor to make sure that to ensure that it only activates a single pulse each time you start touching it. I doubt "1-shot gate" is a standard term, but by that I mean a counter with a max value of 1 that has its output hooked up to its reset input. | 2011-03-29 23:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
