A Moment of Peace
Archive: 7 posts
In this level, you explore a Dormant Dream. Take a moment to relax, and try to take it all in. What you've done through out the day, good or bad news, a death in the family. Just take the time to enjoy life, and in return, it will give you a good time. http://lbp.me/v/zcyq06 | 2011-03-26 22:05:00 Author: Phazerz123 Posts: 440 |
Hello there. Just played your level. Interesting dreamy-like environment. If I'll need a moment of Peace and Silence, then I'll play your level again. Would you play my new level? https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=53753-Japanese-Dreaming-(artistic-level) | 2011-03-26 22:25:00 Author: ghik16 Posts: 311 |
Hey there, i played your level and maybe its just me but i dont get the idea behind it... its indeed a very calm and peaceful level but nothing more than that. Just take the time to enjoy life, and in return, it will give you a good time. I really dont get it sorry... Anyways, thats what i think, now feel free to give some feedback on my Incubo or Madera level please...choice is yours Levels are in my sig! | 2011-03-26 22:39:00 Author: DragonHunterEx Posts: 84 |
Very calming level. The gravity might be a bit too low though. The point bubbles feel a bit pointless with no scoreboard, and could distract from trying to be calm. this goes the same for its classification as a versus level. Overall, a good level that communicates more of a feeling or an experience then being a regular objective-based game. | 2011-03-26 23:07:00 Author: Unknown User |
As a wise Philosopher would say: "Tranquility is Never perfect." Lol this isn't me being Cocky/Defensive. I'm gonna keep working on it until I give you the most enjoyable experience possible. In the meantime, thanks for the Feedback. And I'll get to your levels as soon as possible. | 2011-03-27 02:09:00 Author: Phazerz123 Posts: 440 |
Thanks. How did you get the level to keep giving points? Is it a setting? Did you set up a timer connected with a score giver and its own reset switch? Did you set up a timer connected to a counter with a target count of 1, connected to a score giver and the timer's reset switch? Did you do this some other way? I'm wondering because I'm thinking about using this in a level I'm working on called Dreaming of the Sea (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=53754-Dreaming-of-the-Sea-An-Exploration-Adventure). You will, of course, be credited if I do use it. | 2011-03-29 23:39:00 Author: Unknown User |
Hi Tony, I have removed the Scoregiver itself in my level. I've found it redundant without a scoreboard, however, to answer your question: A times set to target time 0.1 with the output plugged into a score giver and the reset function of the timer will give you 10+ points each time. Since this mechanic is so simple there's no need to credit me on your level. Good luck though. | 2011-04-02 16:36:00 Author: Phazerz123 Posts: 440 |
