Let's say i buy LBP2, can i use stuff from the Metal Gear and Pirate pack...? It would be a shame to lose the amazing Metal Gear songs.

Yeah, all the stuff is usable. You can still play the levels too, but LBP2 hasn't done them any favours graphically.

Well some of them sems to have improved bump mapping I have no idea what that means. and also i played the levels and graphically i agree they don't look very good.

All DLC from LBP1 can be used in LBP2 by importing your LBP1 profile in the LBP2 menus. You also get the option to do so when you load up the game for the first time. Also, there is currently LBP2 DLC being released also, which you can buy from the store, but this is only usable on LBP2 which is pretty obvious.
