[Glitch] How to make the "Walk-through glitch" !
Archive: 7 posts
Hello ! This is my second tutotrial for LittleBigPlanet 2. This time, i'll show you how to make a glitch from LBP1 : the "walk-through glitch" that allows you to walk through any object. And every object can pass through it too ! But you can't move it/copy it/capture it. So be careful : place it at the location you need it to stay before to perform this glitch. Well ! Now, let's go ! Here is my video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE3OFBcAyzM - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE3OFBcAyzM&hd=1 Since I'm french and everyone can have difficulties to understand what I say in this tutorial (even if the video is enough clear), I will explain the steps : 1. Put your object and a piece of material (cardboard for this tutorial) by its side, infront of it or at its back layer. 2. Now, if you remember the first tutorial I made to link some distant objects together without any physical connection between them (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=53393-Glitch-How-to-link-distant-objects-without-any-physical-connection), you know i told you to glue the piece of cardboard to your objects... But this time, you will have to glue your object to the piece of cardboard ! It's important, even if it's ridiculous, you can trust me... 3. Now, put a destroyer tool on the piece of cardboard and set it to "Falls apart" destruction mode. 4. Put a buton somewhere and wire it to the destroyer. 5. Now, you can trigger the buton and voil? ! You are able to walk through your object. 6. Tadaaa !!! I hope it will help some of you, and sorry if i'm not clear, don't be shy, ask for more details on a step. | 2011-03-26 10:36:00 Author: Torkass Posts: 22 |

There's a much simpler method I posted previously (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=48030-Walk-Thru-Walls-Glitch-Rediscovered!&p=764126&viewfull=1#post764126)... Place the object where you want it (you won't be able to move it afterwards). Create a square of either DM or LM, and glue it to the object. Select the DM/LM with Corner Editor, pick up any corner and move it to intersect the corner diagonally opposite. If you did it right, the DM/LM should completely vanish, and you're left with an object with no physics at all. Although with regards to step #3, it seems as if it won't always work with any corner - the corner you're moving towards must be one which is touching the object you want to remove the physics from. | 2011-03-26 19:34:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |

Simpler or not, it's still a glitch. I just wanted to share it. But I also found an other way to do this walk-through glitch and i'll upload a new tutorial soon (with this new way, you are able to move the object and there are some other cool things with some materials). | 2011-03-27 00:08:00 Author: Torkass Posts: 22 |
For my next level, I need a material -other than a hologram - that can be passed through by other objects/sackboys and that you can still move, glue and put (working) logic on. Can that be done with your other method, Torkass? If so, please let me know how it's done | 2011-03-27 22:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
uhm.. aya.. any material will work, not only LM/DM squares | 2011-04-04 19:08:00 Author: Luos_83 Posts: 2136 |

Every other object hurts it, even an other glitched object made with this method. :/ | 2011-04-06 15:42:00 Author: Torkass Posts: 22 |
Oh well, I already found a solution for my problem, but thanks for replying anyways | 2011-04-07 19:08:00 Author: Unknown User |
