double jump, no wall jump

Is there a chip with double jump and no wall jump? I'm making an assassin's creed level, and if the sack bot has wall jump it spoils the level. I've considered an invisible dark matter ceiling thingy, but it can fly over all the buildings..... Help? 2011-03-25 17:52:00

Hm, you could put tags in the walls and a sensor on the double jump chip wired to an xor gate between the mover. Seems like you'd need a lot of tags, though.2011-03-25 18:47:00

Funny thing is though, if you're making an Assassin's Creed level, wall-jumping would make a lot more sense than double jumping in mid-air
Maybe if you used an anti-gravity tweaker or something? to make jumps longer/higher without the need for double-jumping, thus no need to come up with an intricate system to prevent cheating/wall-jumping.

u could add an invisible piece of hologram that follows the sackbot and on the piece of hologram is a small thick piece of hologram at the bottom.Then u add an impact sensor on the piece of hologram.U will have to tweak from normal but this should work if done correctly2011-03-25 21:31:00

Sort of unrelated--have you bought the AC2 Ezio costume yet? I don't have any AC game other than Assassin's Creed Multiplayer(iOS), but if you have that costume and you're making a brotherhood level versus a 2 level, just add a beard.2011-03-25 21:57:00

Going off what killmanx said, toy could have a thin piece of invisible holo with a follower which would cause it to follow your sack around. Glue some three layer thick pieces of holo on either side of the thin holo (so that they just lie outside sackboys body frame.) Attach some impact sensors and set the option 'including touching' to 'on'. Wire the impact sensors to the double jump logic (I assume its contained within a microchip) and set the sensors to inverted. This way, when the hologram detects something, it will turn off the jump logic...hope this helps, sorry if it doesnt make sense...im kinda half asleep... 2011-03-25 22:34:00

exactly, I just don't want them to cheat like you said, and i don't want it to be unoriginal either, its got a sprint mode, but except for that it''s just a sackbot with a controlinator.
