Site randomly going really slow?

| Yesterday the site kept going down, and now it randomly slows down. I'm using Google Chrome, and I'm only having this problem with this site. | This started once the site was back up yesterday. Aha. Looks like memcached didn't get restarted after the reboot. Just started it up, and speeds seem to have improved. Edit: Made some additional changes to... prevent this from occurring in the future ensure, if memcached does fail, the impact on the site's performance is negligable. I mean, I guess we could not back up the forum database on a daily basis...but that's the thing that holds all the posts and threads and everything.
