Hi, some pictures of your level uploaded to yuor profile and level would be nice to enticemore people to play it. As people can easily ignore levels without any images to give them an idea of what it's about. Also a short description of what the level is, other then it being your 1st level would be a good idea. But I'll check it out anyway when I get a chance.2011-03-25 12:09:00

Played it twice now and below are a few pointers:

The jump pad under water actually interferes with the jump physics, making it harder than it should be. Note, Media Molecule do not put any jump pads under water in their levels for a reason.

At this point the camera zooms out way too much. You end up being very small on screen. Again one jump pad is near the water surface and another is underwater. Can get frustrating battling against the physics and sliding off into spikes.

Here you have used grab-able material throughout your whole level. This confuses the grappling hook and can cause unnecessary death. For example in this picture you're suppose to grab onto the round spinning circle (top right). At first glance you trigger the grappling hook it grabs the floor and sends you down into the deadly gas. So, I jumped off the platform and still it grabbed the floor rather then the circle. Took a few goes to get the jump distance right for the hook to actually realise that you want to grab the circle and not the floor. Try other materials at areas like this.

Summary
Although a very simplistic level (I guess as it's your first one and you're still learning) it would be nice to have more gameplay elements like moving platforms, switches to trigger things and usage of more items in your pop-it.

Practice using all 3 layers, front, middle and back to make your level look better and to enhance game-play experience.

People appreciate things that are made by and unique then the pre-designed items you collect from the game. By all means you can still use them, but may be tweak them and play around with them to make them your own.

Research and play other level to get ideas. I can see this level being a lot more then it currently is. The lighting and colours are nice and pretty, like a sunset. So keep it up. I hope that helps.

Thanks for playing ! I had already noticed that there had problems with bouncepad underwater! So I've just modified this!

I also modified the grab-able material on a few elements that could be a problem for players.

Later, I'll probably make the level longer and better to play with moving objects and so on! Still have a lot to learn!

In any case, thanks a lot for your feedback !
