Versus Level Checkpoints

I wanted to make my level a versus level so that if one player is taking a different path than another it doesn't kill them, but when I played it as a versus level and died I got what seemed to be completely random out of order spawns... I even tried some tests with a friend to figure out a pattern but we couldn't find one. I also noticed it appeared as if all my checkpoints were already activated before walking past and triggering them. I guess my question is... WTF? lol... & Is there a way I can make checkpoints work in order like they do in co-op levels? Or more specifically, is there a way for separate players to respawn independently in the order in which they individually triggered the checkpoints?2011-03-25 07:01:00

Nope, ther is no way as far as I'm aware to activate checkpoints in order in a vs level.
You COULD tho, make them use Sackbots, and set your own sackbot checkpoints (make the sackbots spawn at certain points.)
It would technically give you control over spawn placement.

That's just the way it works. You can do nothing about fixing it.
