Links to other PSN accounts

Is it true that you can post a sublevel link from one PSN account to another. If so, this would be an excellent way to have more levels as part of a saga I'm working on and each PSN could be treated as a separtate game in the saga. Also, what is an easy way to get keys so that you can prevent players from skipping levels. I mean, if you publish a level and delete it, will you still have those keys to put in your level? | 2011-03-24 03:48:00 Author: TREMIC1 ![]() Posts: 263 |

I don't think it's possible to link accounts but it is possible to link to another user's level. As for the key part, I believe the key is deleted in your inventory when you delete your level online, but you could place the key down in create and simply capture it for keeps. Also, placing a key in your level, then deleting the level with the associated key, will not remove the keys from the level you initially created. Keys linked to deleted levels online don't work, by the way. | 2011-03-24 04:03:00 Author: warlord_evil ![]() Posts: 4193 |
I don't think it's possible to link accounts but it is possible to link to another user's level. I think he means link other user sub-level, not linking accounts... whatever it is ;] I'm not sure if it's possible, but for sure only creator of sub-level can see it "physicly" on his earth and link to it from other level, so it would require quite a menuver to do it by yourself. Either way keep in mind that level and it's sub-levels counts as a single level (except server space), it means if you will expand the series of those sub-level they will count only as level updates. As you may know LBP2 rating system dont promote any updates so only hardcore fans of your series will probably notice. For example Dadster updates his arcade level by adding games but no body know about them. | 2011-03-24 04:32:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
You can link to another psn's main levels, but not sub-levels. Sub-levels can only be linked to by the psn that owns them. | 2011-03-24 04:33:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

I just checked, it's possible to link sub-level from other account (other player come to other host in OC and tweak the link)... but link become locked in play mode ![]() ![]() Oh well, at least know we a are sure, you can't use sub-levels from other account TREMIC1, if you want to create some big series, you can always create sperate PSN for it for standard levels (not sub-levels), if you don't want lose slots for it | 2011-03-24 16:08:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
TREMIC1, if you want to create some big series, you can always create sperate PSN for it for standard levels (not sub-levels), if you don't want lose slots for it So your saying that if I did want to create more space for the series, I could link the two PSN accounts as long as the level link is set to a standard level in the other account? | 2011-03-25 03:26:00 Author: TREMIC1 ![]() Posts: 263 |
I'm saying that you could do sperete PSN account for your series (like H&G or LittleBigQueen series do), but yes ![]() | 2011-03-25 05:17:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
