A challenger appears!

Hello community. I am Ionpulsar, and I've owned LBP since the first one came out, making and creating things. I've always considered myself adept at logic and art, though sometimes simple things like music sequencers befuddle me. I must be tone deaf or something.

Anyway, I heard this was a great place to see awesome levels, and to showcase some of my own. I understan this isnt the place to do that though so I'll wait on that. I'll divulga a bit about myself first.

First off, I'm not much of a girly-girl. I like sci-fi, fantasy, and things that explode. Especially things that explode. Whether its by magic missiles or heat seeking ones is user preference. I like to make vehicles especially- I've basically mastered the controlinator. This isnt to say I'm the best person ever at logic, but I certainly know my way around a circuit board and I'm willing to show anyone how I do my magic. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, after all.

Second, I LOVE making things in LBP. I'm no one trick pony- Currently I have a pinball machine, a sidescrolling beat-em-up (Complete with full holographic HUD and usable items and powers), a level making use of a personally designed TK chip in a series of logic puzzles, and in the works is a top-down co-op mech RPG with four separate classes. But more than that, I have tons of objects that I made for fun that will never see a level- From a hovering throne that shoots shoop-da-woops, has a weather machine, music changer, and grabber, to a full-function sidescrolling tank that has three separate weapons that can each be set to two types of ordnance (A total of six weapons), to some handheld guns, magic spells, and my ultimate weapon, the Hand-Held Pokinator, I have lots of neat objects I made just for fun and to get a better grasp on the logic of the game.

So, I suppose thats the most important things about me. ANy questions or comments, post 'em up and I'll break it down!

Edit: One more thing before I forget! I use my PS3 for everything, so for me to upload screenshots of my levels I would have to do that from my PS3's images. Can that be done?

Hi and Welcome if you want to use your PS3 images you can export them to your XMB from in game and then save them onto a usb Dongle. Im not sure if you can upload them through the built in web browser but it cant hurt to try
Look forward to seeing what youve got

I appear to have new problem. FOrgive my spelling, I'm literally shaking with rage.

Four times now, I have written long winded, in depth reviews of my levels to post in the level showcase. Every time I hit submit however, it takes me straight back to the forum main page and the level thread is nowhere to be found.

It is INCREDIBLY frustrating to write something for fifteen minutes just to have it vanish for absolutely no reason.

FOUR TIMES.

If I'm doing something wrong PLEASE let me know so I can actually get my levels posted instead of sitting herre screaming at my TV.

Hmmm... are you doing it from here

http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase

and hitting the Post New Level or Post New F4F level? If so are there any errors that show up? It might unfortunately be due to the PS3 browser not recognizing the java script etc.

My recommendation is to contact Aya and tell him your issue. He might have an answer for you.

No, no errors show up at all. It behaves like one would expect all the way up until you hit the submit button, at which point it simply goes back to the forum index.2011-03-24 18:26:00

Unfortunately I suspect the PS3 browser to be the issue. Aya might have a suggestion for you.2011-03-24 18:39:00
