sackbot complete control

Archive: 4 posts

In a few online levels I have seen players use the controlinator to give players complete control over a sackbot in RPG i was wondering if anyone would walk me through how they have done this or point me in the direction of a tutorial that can. My problem is connecting the controlinator to the sackbot. Also in the levels i have been working on in play mode the sack people cant leave my controlinator. What am I missing there?2011-03-23 01:21:00

Make a thick layer block of hologram, about the size of a controllinator.
Put a controllinator on it and set it to transmitter.
Open up the sackbots microchip and put another controllinator on. Set this one to reciever and make sure the channel color of both match up.
Open up the transmitter controllinator and put a follower on it.
Set the radius to a good amount and the speed to 100.
Make sure it is set to follow a tag, and put that tag on the sackbot's microchip.
Also make sure the transmitting controllinator is invisible in play mode.
Done! Have fun, and you can PM me if you have any problems!

EDIT 1: If you want to make it so they can't leave the controllinator, connect a 0% battery to a NOT gate, and the NOT gate to the bottom input of the RECIEVING controllinator.

Or you could just not connect an input into the controllinator eject 2011-03-23 01:52:00

This has been asked (and answered) Many times. I believe there's atleast a link to a Tutorial in the FAQ for the Help forum. But to be very basic, set a Controlinator to "Receive Signal" and put it on the Sackbots microchip. Then put down another controllinator down somewhere (that's not on a microchip) and set it to "Send Signal." Make sure they're on the same color frequency.

For something a bit more in depth watch this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VDbSFgtfMk)

Also, next time. Take a look at this (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=44764-Read-before-asking-questions-LittleBigPlanet-2-Help-FAQ) Before posting a question, it's generally very helpful. And can save plenty of time.

Good luck in your future endeavors.

Oh and the person can't leave unless you set it to "Not automatically enter." But you could plug a switch into it.
