Need bomb help!

So i'm making a top down arena game where one team is bombs that is trying to suicide explode on the other team.

But im just a newb on the game and the only thing i came up with was moving regular impact bombs , but the problem there is that they explode as soon as they touch the enviroment.
Is there a way to bypass that or something completly different that can have the same effect?

If you only want the bombs to explode around other players and not the environment then use some trigger explosives wired to tag sensors and stick tags on the things you want them to blow up around.

Edit: Also, if you don't want to do it like that I think you can set impact sensors to only activate if they touch a tagged object but I might be wrong.

Hi there.

The problem sounds like when you place them, they fall and hit the ground. If your doing a top down game. make them defy gravity. Ok, there are two types of
bomb contact and trigger (square one).

Use the square, trigger explosive.
attach a microghip to it. On this chip place the following:-

1. An ANTI-GRAV TWEAKER - set gravity to 0

2. an IMPACT SENSOR - Connect this to the centre of the trigger bomb.
Now, th bomb wont fall untill nudged in a direction. If you make the walls metal or stone they are indestructible to bombs
so only the bombs/ players can be destroy.
These trigger bombs wont blow themselves on impact but will when an impact sensor is attached

If you don't want them exploding when they hit walls (just when they hit players), follow Ayneh's advice for triggering them. To get them to not explode when they hit walls, you need to trick them into losing their impact explosion ability.
