If Only You Knew (poetry)

| If only you knew the things I do, And all of the gifts I bestowed unto you, And all of the devotions, through and through, If only you knew the things I do. If only you knew about the fights, And the arguements that carry through the night, And the sleep that I lose when I give my insight, And the punishment made, whether wrong or right. If only you knew the feelings I feel, And all of the burdens that seem to appeal To the senses- though my eyes don't reveal, As the emotional strain begins to unreel. But soon, very soon, things will tide On over to our shores, and start to divide Some different aspects of this life, this "ride"... | Thanks guys. @Amigps: Actually, the poem was in fact an indirect description of my feelings toward what was then recent events that happened in the FF group. Though, now these days, it can be applied to a number of things. @Fluffy: Inorite? It seems that people just don't appreciate good literature anymore.
