Funniest experience in LBP2?

Archive: 10 posts

What is the funniest thing you've ever seen on LBP2? I'll share mine.
My friend and I were playing split screen online with a guy I'll call UK. I repeatedly killed him by throwing him off the screen. When we got to the part with the swinging signs on top of train, my friend and I had already made it from the first car to the second. UK jumped forward, and it seemed as if the scene went in slo-mo. He was at the apex of his jump and out of nowhere, a sign flew over and whacked him perfectly in the face, killing him. He rage quitted right after. My friend and I laughed until we cried, it was so perfect.
Now, what was your funniest LBP experience?

Just earlier today I was playing with two friends. One of them left to go to the toilet and while he was gone we stuck the 'bear nose' decoration all over his sackboy. I'm not sure how many of you know this but the bear nose looks exactly like sh** and when he came back we heard him scream into his mic "what the hell!" it was priceless XD2011-03-20 23:25:00

On "Runaway Train" I was playing at my friends house, and instead of using the jam to kill the enemies and hit the switches, I used my friend. He was like an instant kill missile to the min-boss 2011-03-20 23:28:00

Oh boy.. this is the strangest thing (but also one of the funniest, even more than someone playing the Gummy Bear Song over the audio channel) I have ever experienced on LBP2, to this date

I was playing a rather popular versus level (my previous company just had left), and, unusually, received an another join request rather quickly (strange, but very fit for the situation). Here's what then happened.
----------------
- She first asked me to follow her to a secret place in the level, which had lots of pies in it. She had a mic (yes, she; I'm pretty sure she either had a unusually high pitch in her voice, or was very young). We had to restart once, since I already had destroyed all of the pies.

- She proceeded to gobble (grab) the pies, and actually faked all sorts of munching and gobbling sounds. She also talked something strange about flashbacks (nearest match, the sound was rather unclear), while competition was in progress (she died first, relatively early in the level).

- She then promptly decorated the ending room with all sorts of crazy stuff, such as piston decals (I might have a screenshot somewhere), and was very stubborn (laughed devilishly, and smacked me when I tried to drag her to the scoreboard). It took a while to get her to the pod, so I could then decide the next level.

- While at one of my levels (Star of Fortune, look at my LBP.me profile), I started to suspect she was really young (she sounded like she couldn't really understand my instruction subtitles, and screamed "wheee!" constantly, like at several levels beforehand). Also, my ending room got plastered with all sorts of decorations.

- She then asked me to follow her, which I tried, but she then refused me (even after inviting me over the audio channel). That was the end of my story.
----------

While she wasn't such a brilliant player with levels, her voice made my day (by the end of the session, I was holding my laughter, and wished that I had bought a microphone of my own/some sort of recording device to record her voice)

^^^^^^^ Explain

My funneist expirence would have to be when two people joined me on that one clive basketball versus. It was two guys and they had a mic( split screen) and me. We played 3 rounds and if you won twice you won. So they team up on me and i win the first they win the second and the last round we're tied like 300-300 so i steal the ball from them and they end up picking me up and throwing me in the hoop and i dunk it with like 3 seconds left. They weren't able to score agian and they rage quit. It was the most intense vs. I've ever played.

I was playing a train survival with a friend that we had copied and edited recently (to make it have lots of bunnies, yay!). I had died, and he was walking around the floor as we had removed the side gas so we could walk around there. He was walking the left when one huge part of the train just crashed down right in front of him, and he died 2011-03-22 11:03:00

I was playing the train level with a couple of random people and it was obvious that one was a little girl and could not jump the gaps in between the cars. After several frustrating minutes of watching her die ( I had spent like an hour trying to join up with 3 people to get those prize bubbles) I just picked her up and carried her through the entire level. She kept saying/typing "put me down, put me down" It was hilarious, she was mad but I got my prize bubbles dang it.2011-03-22 19:08:00

Always trolling my buddies to jump first across the gaps in the "Gripple Grapple" story levels and then grappling my hook on them while they where mid-air. That'd make them fall to their deaths some times of course they repaid in kind. Similarly, in a Victoria level we kept picking each other up with grabinators and tossing the other to a lethal pit nearby. Back then we were playing the story for the first time and hadn't realized we just had to hit X to escape each others' grasp.

Many versus levels are fun as heck too. One of the best new things in LBP2
