Need help with bomb counter

I'm making a bullet-shooter game, and i want a holographic counter that tells how many bombs the player has. It needs to go up everytime the player touches a tag, and down everytime the player uses a bomb. Is there any way to do this or should I just scrap the idea? Btw, hi forum! ok then take a counter set to three and run a direction combiner as its input. Every time he picks up a bomb, pulse the positive side, and every time he uses one pulse the negative side.
