Lhikan Glitch, (AKA Copied Sackboy Glitch)

Archive: 5 posts

Ok, this exists in an entirely different way in LBP1, but it doesn't actually WORK without crashing the PS3. Since I discovered a working version by a different method, technically I get to name it, so there.

Anyway, let's get right to the matter then. Simple as this: if you perform the bolted Sackboy glitch, then copy the bolted object, you get up to 3 copies of the chosen Sackperson. If you exceed the player limit, the game will of course still crash.

Each copy of the Sackperson will mimic the original. There are glitches, (eg. opening your popit crashes, killing more than 2) But other than that, they work much like if you had a Sackbot set to mimic you.

Now images here would not do my credibility much good since I could just as easily do this with Sackbots, however since I can't very well film it right yet, you'll just have to have faith and try it for yourself. Also here are some pictures anyway:

Also here's a tutorial level I made in LBP2 if anyone's interested:

Anyway, since there's no way this can be used outside of create, what I wonder would it's usability be limited to? Discuss!

A - Old glitch's old, so I don't think you get to name it, m8.
2 - Like you said, its completly useless since we got sackbots.

So, kinda neat tryck, dude, but not really usefull, and its more harmful than good. (too many bugs and glitches, and too prone to crash to actually be considered useful.)

Well if I remember correctly, you couldn't actually place the object in LBP1, nor did it actually do anything, and this one is done in a much different way so.. that technically means it's a new glitch right? That said, it's not overly glitchy. It has value if for nothing but lolz. 2011-03-20 08:04:00

I know, both this and the other methods are old, I keep check of most glitches as they are announced, and I'm certain this method has also been discovered already.
Only it was pretty pointless, and too buggy (stil is) so no one really paid attention to it.
I also don't think system crashes will cause teh lolz either.

Fair enough I guess. Couldn't find it anywhere so I just assumed it was new. Ah well. Does this glitch otherwise have a name? Just curious.
