Super Mario Bros 1-1: Rolling Ball edition

Archive: 3 posts

Hello everyone

I am really excited to have this lvl finshed and ready to show everyone. This is my 2nd lvl i have made, and I have spent between 100-200 hours on this (I think)

Now for the info for this level

This is the original Super Mario Bros lvl 1-1 with a new twist. Instead of controlling Mario, you control Rolling Ball instead using the Sixaxis joystick.

I have spent alot of time trying to make the enemies look right and act the correct way too, as well as the level design.

At the start of the lvl there is a code section, from here you can enter codes (that you obtain by getting certain scores stated at the end of the lvl).

As a bonus, if you can get a high score of over 50k, with both codes active, then you can have every item I have made in this level (which is everything, since I have made it everything from scratch (except for the music, thank you M1kle).

Now if you experience any bugs, or have and comments, please tell, as I would I would really this lvl to be perfect

50k? Impossible! Or maybe I just don't know remember where all the hidden coins are.

At least I got through without dying, which among other things proves that you did a great job on the controls. (aside from the awkwardness of having to tilt the controller to move, but obviously that's the theme of the level) You also did a fine job replicating the look and feel of Super Mario 1-1.

I'm trying to think of what could be done to improve the level but nothing comes to mind. If I were you I would just go ahead and start on Super Mario Bros 1-2

Thank you for your positive feedback . The 50k is a hard target to get, but it gets alot easier to obtain once both codes are active.2011-03-20 05:59:00
