lizard race demo

Nice idea. This is one of the best racing levels i've ever played. You have earned yourself a heart. I will watch development.

Hey, I tried your level but unfortunately the lift / elevator kept getting stuck and jamming and I couldn't get it to go up to the actual race. I don't know if it's just me but I had to give up in the end. Sorry, I hope this helps.

thats odd i test it out and works fine but i will check it out again (im thinking of using a directional mover instead of a piston)

I played your level yesterday and i believe it has quite some potential: the arcade-like racing is simple but fun, and the lizard looks quite good. I however feel that the hub should be changed: with lizard-themed racing i was expecting a sort of forest-like hub with actual lizard NPCs, while the current hub seems a bit generic. I also feel that the track could be decorated more. Overall interesting work .

I played your level yesterday and i believe it has quite some potential: the arcade-like racing is simple but fun, and the lizard looks quite good. I however feel that the hub should be changed: with lizard-themed racing i was expecting a sort of forest-like hub with actual lizard NPCs, while the current hub seems a bit generic. Hey KRX,

Great things definitely seem to be happening!

I found the lobby area detailed and attractive. The "under construction" signs were a nice touch. Also interesting to see your Sack gadding about.

The lizard handled well and I can imagine it could be loads of fun with additional tracks.

The only real problem I want to point out is the camera angling at the beginning of the race. For whatever reason, it points away from the direction of the race. Thankfully, arrows on the ground confirmed that I was supposed to head back toward the camera, but it didn't seem "right".

Otherwise, I think all you need is a layer of polish and you're off!		2011-03-25 22:36:00

New lobby looks pretty nice. Somehow I managed to get the ninja to stand in front of the door he was guarding and hold it open for me, haha. Whatever, I know you'll build more down that hallway. Anyway, I like how well decorated the race was. The lizards felt a little unwieldy but I like that cause I figure that's what it should feel like when you're trying to ride a lizard, haha. They're a cool vehicle for a race level like this and I like the way they animate. The boosters and stars are great too. Anything you can do that's more like this will help your level stand out from all the other non-lizard top-down race levels out there.2011-03-29 08:42:00

VISUALS:
The visuals of the hub level is okay, but could use more polishing. The race track, on the other hand, looks pretty good, and same goes with that lizard of yours.

SOUND:
Neat music choice for hub level, but the custom music in the beach track could use more beat, however, the custom music sounds good too.

GAMEPLAY:
The Lizard control is accurate, and the power ups are impressive.

OVERALL:
