Hello. I'd just like to tell you guys that a costume version of the scuba gear powerup has been found. A total of 5 people have it, but they refuse to share it. I'm basically posting this in hopes of people finding out how it was done.

In the Water Beta, the Scuba gear powerup could be saved as a costume, but this was patched when water was added to the actual game. These people must have found a way to import their Water Beta profiles.

I would like to think that their refusal to share is born of an altruistic desire to not further introduce a bug into LBP2 that might have unpredictable behavior... but it's more likely they simply want to keep the costumes for themselves.

Wait if its a costume, can you still breath underwater or no? It's just a costume gotten by a hack import. you still need the real power-up not to die under water. i don't see much point in having this as a costume my self. guess some people are just having fun with it as a novelty thing~ *mew

The costumes are very detailed with stickers, there are no costume editing camera abilities in the pod and stickering it like so would've been very difficult and a waste of time. :tophat:

Well, it's only a matter of time before it's publicly available and those that choose not to upload it when they had the opportunity will be kicking themselves for not getting the guaranteed zillions of plays and hartz. If it isn't imported from an old water beta profile then maybe it has something to do with the rotation exploit...? I remember someone splitting apart the paintinator into separate parts but I dunno if they could save them as decorations or costumes or whatever.

Yea bubble may eventually pop specially when LBP2 allows to easily transfer costumes, same as electrified sackboy is now easy to get

Actually, I WOULD publish it, but as you see, even very important glitches such as the water tutorial I published recieves around 1 play a day abd it has around 24 plays after being published for 1 month. And frankly, I don't give a flying **** about hearts XD

Let's not badmouth people. Simply put, if you don't trust a person not to "steal" a costume or other item in create mode, don't go into create mode with them. I don't know or care about the particulars, but we don't want any of this "don't trust so-and-so" stuff here. @Flamento, you can "steal" a costume by setting a sackbot to copy player X's costume, and then you can go into costume editor on the bot and capture it. I don't have to worry about it 'cuz I won't go into create mode with people I don't trust, but I also have a secondary defense on a few of my costumes--I use stickers from the more obscure dlc packs on my costumes, like stickers from the Buzz or Valentine's pack, 'cuz few people have those.
