Should i delete them?

Archive: 8 posts

Hey their guys its JcyBH. I got a question for some of you. I'm being taught by Racing Creed on how to make good levels. Hes a great teacher and got some sharp looking levels and not that boring to hang out with. Since I'm getting better within days of him teaching me i got a question. Should I delete my levels and start over like nothing never happened with them ,or should i keep them to show how far i become. Because of the fact of me knowing i made them kinda discourage me. So what should i do?:star:2011-03-17 19:18:00

Weeelll... thats a hard one to say,
if it was me I'd just lock the old levels i don't like anymore that i plan on remaking someday.
and any i don't like and don't care to remake, I'd just delete these~ *mew

I deleted alot of old stuff, especially the ones I would call mini-levels from November '08 and stuff I really don't think anybody'd have any interest in playing anymore... but I wish I'd kept some, 'cause even though they were borked in retrospect and compared to whatever I made next, they were genuine and had some neat ideas and raw creativity to them. I like to date the remaining ones in the title now. Like "02/14/2009 [level name]"2011-03-17 19:48:00

I delete stuff that I realize I'm never going to finish, unless there are some cool bits in it that I think I might recycle at some point.

I will never delete anything that I've completed, good or bad. Worst case it gets exported to HDD and removed from my moon.

I keep them all, but my moon is almost full...so perhaps I should do what Theguide does. I just love going back and trying to make loder levels better.2011-03-18 21:31:00

Are you talking about levels you've published? I delete old levels if I'm embarrassed by them (my early mechs which I thought were so awesome at the time but are cringe-worthy when I see them now) or if they were tech demo levels that no longer apply, but otherwise I leave them up. I made all my lbp1 levels lbp1 only, though, so I could sort of start fresh with lbp2.2011-03-18 21:36:00

Maybe leave them as a proof of your awesome improvement? That's what a lot of people are doing.2011-03-19 01:13:00
