One Day To Live by theWinnie - A Showcase of Emotion

Note first that, until now, I've never been compelled enough by a level to go on here and make a recommendation.

At first glance, this level does not seem like much. The art style is not groundbreaking, the design simplistic. But what I've found in this level erases your thoughts on the subject.

First off, we've got some very open-ended gameplay, as the creator promises. Although initially confusing and perhaps selling short on the sheer potential of it all, this first phase of the level is very satisfying in how it plays out. it's a very inFamous-esque (minus the electric superpowers) 'good deeds or bad' setting that involves varied situations. You may have to play the level twice to really explore this first part. Of course, it's not glimmering as a Utopia - those severely bothered by design flaws may not enjoy this part too much, but it is still enjoyable.

The second and final part of the level is the part that really impressed me. Not due to it's design, but rather, the story. At the beginning it is established that you, the monodic protagonist, have a love interest which, in your gloom and sorrow over your upcoming doom, you've ignored. You engage in one last verbal exchange with your sweetheart, and this is the setpiece of the level. The writing is outstanding and conveys more emotion than I've seen elsewhere in LBP. Cliche love tropes? Nah. Indeed, I myself was moved somewhat, those who reviewed the level report full-on tears. Decide for yourself.

I for one think this level needs a bit more attention. I found it quite exquisite.
