What are you reading, and hat do you plan to read?

Archive: 20 posts

This is probably already a thread, but if not:

I'm reading three books, and two of them are for my school.

For School: Night by Elie Wiesel. And Boy by Roald Dahl

For myself: The Amber Spyglass (His Dark Materials boom three) by Philip Pullman.

Now... who's next?

I'm playing catch up with the Discworld series - I normally read them all the week they come out, but I've gotten a little behind;
So my next book is Unseen Academicals (!!! I just found out SkyOne have commisioned it for a TV two parter - excellent!)

Anything by Roald Dahl is awesome.

But two books that I read in school that have stayed with me my whole life are One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (read the book, ignore the film) ; and Catch 22 (Again, read the book, ignore the film).
Truely great books.

For myself: A Quiet Belief in Angels - R.J.Ellory, House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski

What (not hat xP) I'm planning to read is a few Psychology books to raise my already outstandingly average intelligence.

Yeh I read it a while ago, it's amazing. Puts you straight into the mind of an autistic person so well that when you stop reading you can't help but see the world in that way for a bit. (:

I just read Night recently for school too! Quite depressing.

Tho I will not read a hat (at least not anytime soon,)...that'd be foolish.

I'm planning on reading my textbooks...eventually....maybe....probably not.

Been really interested in Flash, so I might go out and buy some books later on it, and some manuals for referencing actionscript.

Black Hawk Down (finishing actually, and I love it!)

And as for the hat:

It looks like an interesting read. The NY got me hooked, but as I kept examining it, some of the words were too small to read so I may pass up on it.
