Dynamically Change Sackbot Costume

We should be able to dynamically change sackbot costumes via the behavior chips the same way we can change behavior, facial expression, abilities, etc. Currently the only way to do this would be to destroy the current sackbot and emit a new one in it's place. This would not necessarily be smooth and is not an option in all cases.

I have a specific need for this, but I can think of many others easily:

-- Player changes between man/werewolf or Bruce/Hulk on the fly
-- Dynamic clothing: Player can equip different outfits, armors, gloves, etc for RPGs
-- Dynamic decorations: Player can equip different weapons (sword, pipe, etc) and show different weapon strapped to back
-- Special effects: destruction of nearby object or enemy briefly covers player in goo/burns/etc; player briefly covered in snow/frosting/etc. after jumping in it
-- States/emotions: player turns green when poisoned, red when angry, etc.

Yeah, I agree with this, doesn't seem too hard (I may be wrong) in theory. This would make things more easier for movies and RPGs and whatever else.2011-03-17 05:30:00
